Perspectives

Across two charter schools, we represent a K-8 institution engaged in continuous thinking, analysis and conversation to advance the quality and substance of learning for every child. This is our obligation as a Charter: to offer a representative model for effectively educating children who reside in the Watts community of South Los Angeles.

As with our children in the learning process, we engage in dialogue to form and articulate a shared set of perspectives about our work. The development of a shared set of perspectives within and across our schools forms the basis for designing and facilitating meaningful and productive learning experiences for students with greater consistency, continuity and predictability.

Our dialogue is focused on understanding the perspectives we have regarding children, learning and teaching.
